Royal Commission: A Word From Coffee Finance

As you may have heard, over the past twelve months there has been a Royal Commission into Misconduct into Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services.

On Monday 4th February, the Government released the Final Report which contained recommendations around mortgage brokers which you may have read about. The Government also announced their response to the Final Report.

You may have heard about the recommendation that customers could pay a “fee for service” for my services to you as your mortgage broker.

The current service we provide you, our valued clients, has not changed. My services as a mortgage broker to you, continues to be at no charge.

I am a licensed professional and under the law disclose to you all fees and commissions I earn in conjunction with the work I do on your behalf.

Customers are the cornerstone of our business and to put it simply, without you, we don’t exist.

I wanted to let you know there is currently no fee to use us as your mortgage broker.

If you would like to know more about the Royal Commission Final Report, or if you wish to review your finance needs please don’t hesitate to call me.

We want you our valued clients to know that we are committed to grow and adapt so that we continue to assist you in seeing dreams come true.

Buying your first home.  Moving to a new one. Investing. Putting a pool in for the kids. Upsizing, downsizing, treechanging, seachanging.  New car smells and breaking ground. We will be here, ready to help.

And we will continue to do it even better than before.

Laurie and the Coffee Finance team.
